IIT Prepares for Web 3.0 Future | Web 3.0, Blockchain, Cryptocurrency, Metaverse, and NFT are future-focused technology-based courses. Such educational programs are being developed in India by TimesPro in collaboration with key industry partners and the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).
Students completing these new-age technology-based courses will be issued certificates by institutions like IIT-Delhi, IIT-Roorkee, and IIT-Ropar. Even IIT faculty are involved in designing many of these technology-based courses.
According to the FICCI-EYs 2022 report, Web 3.0 has been named a game-changer for the Internet and could add around $1.1 trillion to India’s GDP by 2032.
It is also noted that the metaverse will grow significantly, lead to many disruptions, build consumer experiences, and have more than 50 million avatars in its space by 2025.
To offer learners future-focused and technology-driven programs, a Web 3.0 learning initiative through a unique interactive experience has been launched in Metaverse.
This initiative in India aims at providing unmatched quality of modern and new age education to the students through state-of-the-art programs in various Web 3.0 technologies like Blockchain, Cryptocurrency, Metaverse, NFT, etc.
These programs have been developed in collaboration with leading industry and institute partners such as the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi, iHub Divya Sampark (IIT Roorkee), and the India Blockchain Alliance.
Various certificate programs are being offered under these technology-based courses as per the convenience and capability of the students. Its core is to provide learners with the opportunity to learn in the field of ever-evolving technology.
Starting with Web 3.0, Blockchain Developer Program will be offered in collaboration with various to enhance the skills of technical learners in addition to certificate programs in Blockchain, FinTech, Blockchain Fundamentals and Solidity and Ethereum Smart Contracts.
Learners can learn them at their convenience.
Anish Srikrishna, the CEO, of Times, told IANS, “Times is investing in emerging technologies and has introduced several flagship programs in Full Stack, Cyber Security, AI, Big Data, Cloud Computing, etc.
